Position Overview:
As a member of the Professional Services team, the job entails 40% pre-sales technical sales efforts, 30% Installation, Configuration and 30% Post-Sales Support/Trouble Shooting. Work performed is often with wireless and barcode based computers networked via cellular connected or wireless LAN connected. Experience in this industry is a requirement.
Focus is on system and solution selling and support to end-users and a network of ISV’s.

Essential Functions:
Take direction from VP Sales and Professional Services Manager to effectively satisfy prospect and customer requirements

On identification of potential / actual shortages, disputes, inability / unwillingness to pay or other problems with collectability of receivable to notify Account Executive and Portfolio Manager as appropriate.
Follow up on any payment commitments from debtors.
Prioritize receivables in light of debtor size, debtor performance, past issues, watch client / collect out client status, action points from client/portfolio reviews or as directed by Portfolio Manager / CCO.
Identify and anticipate client facility issues and proactively propose solutions to Portfolio Manager as appropriate for implementation.
Ensure optimum call volume is achieved and daily / weekly routines in place to reach operational targets.

Hours:

You must be able to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical CAD drawings.
You must be able to work safely with electrical test equipment on circuits that are powered up.

You must be able to work safely in high places requiring a fall arrest harness as well as tight spaces and places requiring respiration masks and Tyvek suits.
Analytical thought used to observe symptoms and deduce the root cause as well as formulate asolution is critical. A calm and controlled demeanor when systems don’t operate according to plan isimportant.
Customer relations are paramount. You must be able to listen and communicate with the operator of the machine to understand the symptoms and ask pertinent questions, making notes for future reference. You are the face of the company so proper decorum is the rule.
Must be able to work alone or with a group of other technical personnel.
The ability to use a manual to operate and/or program an unfamiliar electronic controller is helpful.
The ability to use a computer to access technical information on the internet and to create reports is a plus.
PLC or CAD experience is a big plus but not required for this position.

Job Summary:
Service Call
Surveys are planned and scheduled ahead of time.
After gathering all the tools and supplies as well as any possible parts required we depart for the client facility
Upon filling out the paperwork attaching all the thermocouples and fixing them to the appropriate points inside the oven/furnace and setting up the datalogger, we start the machine and start recording the temperatures. We carry out the survey according to set procedures spelled out in the AMS or CQI protocol requirements.
When the procedure is complete we inform the client that we have gathered the data and will be sending the properly formatted report back by noon of the following day.
After completing the report and emailing it to the client, you save a copy of the report and all the raw
data to the proper folder on the server. Then notify AR of the completed survey so it can be invoiced.

Ensure that the Claims Processing department conforms to all applicable company regulations and requirements including, but not limited to, prompt payment to providers, Risk Adjuster submission and beneficiary reporting.
Enhance and maintain communication with all MA departments to maximize accuracy and efficiency in systems configuration, reimbursement uploads, enrollment processing as well as continuing maintenance of software used to facilitate claims processing.
Assist other departments in resolution of issues and development of procedures to “commit to quality” and to create a smooth, efficient flow of communication and processes to ensure the satisfaction of enrollees and providers.
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and ensure that staffing within the Claims department is at appropriate levels, and within the approved budget, to accomplish the work of MA.
Ability to manage outsourced vendor relationships and oversee and audit functions per regulatory guidelines.
Manage, Recruit and Train Staff:
Oversee training of new employees along with an in-depth cross-training program for staffing flexibility
Educate to create understanding of our processes, operations and goals.

Knowledge of Medicare pricing methodologies including but not limited to fee schedules, DRG, CMG, DME, RUG, LTC-DRG, ESRD and others.
Knowledge of compliant claim coding and National and Local Claim Determinations
Demonstrated desire to “make it happen” in previous positions.
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD9, HCPCS and CPT coding.

Education and Experience:
BA or BS in Business, Accounting or related field. Five or more years of management experience (preferably in a medical or insurance related position) may substitute for some or all of the formal education requirements.
Five or more years of progressively responsible supervisory or management positions in a healthcare payer production environment.

Desired:
Knowledge of Medicare Advantage program.
Knowledge of guidelines and standards for first dollar processing of Medicare claims.
Knowledge of claims processing flow and procedures including, but not limited to, coordination of benefits, provider and enrollment file functions, medical management, customer service, and quality improvement.
